In response to junk food marketing, VicHealth tasked students with tackling prevalent advertising norms from the food industry. The goal was to inspire consumers to re-evaluate their relationship with junk foods.

The Australian icons campaign challenges how ingrained unhealthy food
advertising has become, by painting landmarks & icons in fast food branding. 


Junk food is often advertised as a reward, for an achievement, 
or around specific events. Marketers specifically target sports
and social events, where social pressure is implied.


This campaign criticises the excessive showmanship often employed when advertising junk food. 

Force Fed

Advertising of junk foods are often force fed into our lives, 
especially through social media.
