Student submission for the International Society of Typographical Designs (ISTD) brief “Putting things in order”. This book investigates the unique order and design of computer keyboards, through rhythmic, experimental typography. The artwork includes a range of three dimensional typography and imagery.
Throughout this book is experimental typography mixing 3D and and 2D typographic design.
Each section corresponds to a different aspect of keyboard design. Above is travel, how far it takes to press down a key.
Inside the centre is a insert, detailing the how keyboards can act as translators between the chaos of our minds, and digital realities.
The back cover plays with visibility, with a Spot UV treatment for "hidden" type.
